Rosie Castro who Manages QDG has completed the 'Clean and Safe' course recommended by the WTTC so guests can feel confident that all surfaces have been thoroughly sanitized before their arrival. "This is truly an oasis and Brendan and his "accomplice" Rosie keep a beautiful place (superhost status is spot on!) The Gardener's Cottage is well-appointed - if you like the photos you will be even happier on arrival. We had everything we needed for breakfast the morning after arrival including delicious homemade jams and the kitchen has just what we needed to cook for ourselves, including the lovely outdoor area replete with grill, charcoal, and starters and dining table for al fresco meals. Time wandering the gardens or by the pool was restorative after sightseeing. And terrific linens added a nice touch to showering, sleeping, and cleaning up after meals. The location is convenient for a variety of day trips but frankly just relaxing at QDG is all one might want! Thank you Brendan."

We had an amazing stay. We could talk about the absolute serenity of the dwelling, but we won't. We could talk about the perfectly arranged garden, rich on exotic plants and so well balanced but we won't. We could talk about the evening chats under the grapevine, surrounded only by the soft whisper of an evening breeze , but we won't. Or talk about the crisp and very tastefully arranged terrace with swimming pool but we won't. Or about Brendan and Rosy, and their perfect hospitality, the freshly baked lemon cake for us, but we won't. We won't, because it does not feel like you would want to overly share this with just anyone. But only recommend this place to well selected dear friends whom you would want to offer this stay as an absolute gift. So, we'll be very discrete about this great place...

The Gardeners Cottage is a true oasis on a hill. The view from the terrace overlooking mountains and trees are breathtaking. What a find! The cottage is spacious and very tastefully renovated. We were also lucky to have met Brendan who really is a superhost: wonderful character with an open and creative mind. The whole place has a really good vibe. Highly recommended!!
